Only parts that aren't great are the heatbreak (get an all metal E3D heatbreak) and the extruder gears (get genuine bondtech) but I just got a kit from them this week, and the drive gears actually look as good as the ones on my PRUSA so maybe they've adressed the issue. It also came with a bi-metal heatbreak that doesn't look bad, and is better than the one in all teh reviews, but I still recommend a genuine one to avoid clogs.
Anyway, their clone runs the real prusa firmware, has 49 point auto bed leveling, and works the same as a real one. It's a little more than the one in this thread, but it will be vastly more reliable and be a real workhorse.
I have the Genius and I have no hesitation recommending it, great printer.
Would the X2 be good for brand new noobies? I'm pretty handy and can pick up stuff pretty quickly.

still seems like a pretty good deal. I was thinking about getting a Neptune 3 Plus but it's still out of stock and $100 more unless they run a coupon/sale. Presale was cheaper but only for a small number of units.
edit: it says Presale. I ordered, will see.
