This seems like a good deal esp with trade-in. I have an old all in one to trade and for the cost of ink, I think this would be a better route?
Kinda on the fence, as ink jet printing isnt used often so would be concerned that the ink dries up after only a few uses. Seems like from reviews, it does not take 3rd party inks but guessing that probably true for most printers.
You're supposed to be able to revert this to an older firmware which allows for third party ink, but I'm still seeing $50+ for a set or generics which doesn't seem great.
Qualifying Epson printers include ET-2850 (6470013), ET-3830 (6470012), ET-3850 (6470010), ET-4850 (6470011), WF-3820 (6426722), WF-4820 (6426721), ET-5170 (6459602), and WF-7840 (6426725).
Why in the world would anyone trade in Eco-Tank (cheap bulk ink) printers for this cheapo? I have an ET-4800 and an ET-4850 and they can have those back when they pry them from my cold dead hands.
