Amazon [amazon.com]GaN USB-C Chargers are on sale. I've been watching this 65w charger since I missed the all-time low price of $11.59. While it's not the lowest it's been, this is a good price if you want to pick up a small-form-factor GaN USB C charger that is capable of charging most devices, even many laptops.

Note: Amazon Basics GaN chargers are not PPS, so it won't do super-fast-charging on recent Samsung phones.

Other versions of Amazon Basics (non-PPS) chargers are on sale too:
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

GaN is a technology used to make smaller, more efficient chargers.

PPS stands for programmable power supply. It allows chargers to vary their output in a way that enables super fast charging for some advanced devices, like recent Samsung smartphones.
You must have a time machine cause that deal is dead

I received both this Amazon Basics 65W and the Anker 715 65W and I'm impressed with the Amazon Basics one. I've a 10 year Anker user and thought I would easily like Anker more, but in fact it's the opposite. My testing is based on a M2 MacBook Air and for the reasons below:
1. The Amazon Basics 65W charges cool while the Anker 715 65W charges pretty warm
2. Volume wise the Anker is a tad smaller, but it's also 0.7 oz heavier, enough to be noticeable (Amazon is 3.4 oz where the Anker is 4.1 oz)
3. Anker 715 is $35 at the time of purchase (3/21), where the Amazon is $15.

For these reasons, I cannot justify the Anker and will be returning it and be getting another Amazon basics 65W.

Thanks for the deal and the early heads up!
Hi. Thanks for sharing the feedback on both. I figured you'd like the AB charger, but you said you'd get both to test it out. Glad you did!

My feelings are the same. AB holds its own and works great.

I do NOT recommend ULTRANET brand. They don't have any sort of contact info whatsoever and they don't even have a website. I had my Ultranet charger for only 2 months and it died and could not get support or replacement. The seller just doesn't exist and you effectively have no warranty outside of the 30 day Amazon return policy. I wasted $15 on this sketchy brand.

What kind of configuration are you seeking? A 3 port adapter is likely going to be very unbalanced as there isn't going to be a commodity single chip solution as there are for many single- and dual-port chargers. However, if you have very specific wattage / connectivity options there may already be some 3 port solutions which could be recommended.

Good luck!

I will wait for 100w with dual port and compact chargers to go on sale. Just need one for Travel. The insignia is good but it is too bulky.

The iPhone is the simplest part of this trio to minimize, as there's an argument to be made that any rating above 18W (9V 2A) isn't providing much benefit. However, even this is a challenge since the third port option is often relegated to USB-A limited to 12W (5V 2.4A), however some of the tertiary brands have included USB-A options which do support 18W modes (such as 9V 2A) though compatibility with an iPhone isn't always guaranteed (meaning you could find that an 18W-capable port is still being limited to a 15W mode at 5V 3A or, even worse, a 12W mode at 5V 2.4A).

The iPad varies a lot by model and for some versions would benefit greatly from a port which can support higher voltage modes typically used for laptops (which Apple iPads describe as fast charging). Many of the two port USB-C options cover this functionality.

And, of course, the options for your laptop would vary based upon your laptop's actual needs vs. your usage patterns.

Overall, you do potentially have a lot of great two-port options if you opt for one where both ports support 15V and 20V Power Delivery modes and the secondary (lower-rated) port supports up to 30W when both ports are in use. I'd dare say pairing this laptop/iPad option with a spare cable to charge your iPhone from your laptop is probably your best combo when you're trying to minimize what you carry (since you could always charge the iPhone directly when you don't need to charge all three devices simultaneously). The next best option is adding a dedicated 20W Power Delivery charger for the iPhone into the mix with the two-port laptop/iPad-optimized selection.

Otherwise single charger three-port options get you out of the world of top tier chargers (from Apple or Samsung) and even outside well-supported selections from AmazonBasics or Best Buy (e.g. - Insignia). These options do exist, but they're the type of brands that only exist as social-media promotions (so search Slickdeals, but only if you're interested).

Good luck!

The monoprice, which included a usb cable, was less than $10. This is not a good price.
I bought that monoprice deal but would like to return it because it does not support superfast samsung charging. It's junk to me.
