Normally what you said is true, but for this specific deal, it's a Quantity-based promo. Meaning, if you buy a Quantity of 2, you get the $5. Regardless of how you paid or what rewards you used.

5% Discover drugstore quarterly cash back knocks off another $0.03 (lol), making it $0.59.
I rolled a $5 Walgreens Cash reward into another one (used $5, will get $5).

I've always earned RR with pick up orders. But I see with that many of the deals don't earn rewards with pick up orders. Is this a new thing?

This one doesn't seem to have that stipulation which is awesome but I don't remember seeing that before

Try to guess which Colgate's or crest qualify today but not tmmrw and you may get the deal, continuing shuffling of tubes, signs , sizes, quantity, type of "reward" , method of payment ..... etc.., leads MOST purchases NOT to qualify and Most purchases at a therefore much higher price. Shifting

That message always shows up during checkout. But since this is a buy 2, get Walgreens cash deal(a quantity deal, not a spend deal), you can use your Walgreens cash to purchase and still will get Walgreens rewards.

For quantity deals, you can use Walgreens cash and the deal will still work.

Register rewards only spit out on in store deals/purchases now. This is Wags Cash, wags cash is good on pick up orders and you will receive it.
