This blender is great. No needless bells and whistles, and it's quieter than my old 7500 which died after 4+ years of daily use. I'm sure this thing will last just as long. If I needed another blender, I'd order this one.
I would strongly recommend not getting the Explorian model if you ever plan on using the food processor attachment or any of their newer containers (or any new products in the future) because of the self-detect technology.
I have the V1200 from Costco (which is basically an A-series blender more or less) and it's been great!
Buy these from Costco. Have needed their return policy twice. Vitamix as a PITA to deal with.
I mentioned vitamix being annoying with returns/warranty repairs before and had people jump on my butt claiming that they are amazing. I don't know if things changed or I was just unlucky or they have aggressive fanboys.
IMO the best deal is to buy a "dumb" vitamix motor off of ebay used and buy a replacement bottle from amazon for $80-$120 depending on which model you get. I don't need a bluetooth blender and the motors are super solid in the older dumb machines.

Not sure if it's a good thing that I skipped out on Best Buy's deal or not? That was $100 less for a different model, could this be that much better? My chase 10% off offer expired the day prior so I said forget it. Lol I couldn't save $25 more so I didn't bite.
Now I splurge on this and feel a tad bit of a regret, all over $25 savings.
I did redeem my $315 in amazon rewards as a statement credit right after I bought this. It makes it more of a justified purchase now, not much out of pocket cost.
My ninja is pretty crappy at performing, I'm excited for this upgrade & my daughters love making smoothies, I will definitely enjoy watching them make me a cup too!
Never owned a blender this expensive. How does it blend better compared to generic blenders?
I think the "you get what you pay for" concept applies to this blender. Read the reviews.
Plus, this thing is solid and will last a long time, not to mention a nice warranty.
I saw a warranty of 10 years. I didn't see anything that mentioned it being halved because it's purchased from Amazon. Someone commented about this…. Don't think it's true..
A generic blender is just that, generic. I bought a personal sized ninja blender for my mom, she never used it, so I said I was taking it home.
It doesn't perform well at all. It's sad. Especially since I paid a little over $100 for it.
I will donate it and appreciate this much more!

You can have more presets than 3500 on this model (3300) using the Vitamix app via Bluetooth.
I used them for first 10 days then have been on manual mode ever since.
