My previous one (same model) finally kicked the bucket after 5-1/2 years. In the 5-1/2 years of owning it, I had to replace the door spring ($3 from Lowe's) and the thermal fuse (couple bucks). Over the last few weeks it began to shut off/power cycle itself while cooking, so it was time to get a new one. For something we use nearly every single day, I think it held up fairly well. Our Breville electric kettle and Breville toaster are still going strong after nearly 10 years of use.
Which means I didnt get this other coupon that I likely would have given it a second try with.
but we had cleaners over and they wanted to clean the inside while my parents weren't looking.
They broke one of the heating crystals at the bottom. Then my mom tried to do the same thing a few weeks later and broke the other bottom one herself. They both cracked in half, but we still use the oven daily over the past year. Doesn't seem to be a fire hazard hehe.
Just FYI, they are very delicate!
