I paid $445 for netgear nighthawk wifi 6 modem/router combo and put it in my basement. It covers the entire
4000 sq ft home without any issues.
If you dont mind, can u please share the ones you got. i might try in my house as it's a 3 level home and never got a good signal after I've upgraded to 1GB from Xfinity.
before i used to have 300mbps and it worked flawlessly.

This is the one I bought last month. I have 20 smart devices connected to the same wifi and haven't had any issues since then.

I've had this router for several years, and have 50+ devices connected to it at all times and can still run lag-free Steam VR games wirelessly on my Oculus via VR Desktop. It's absolutely fantastic. Think I paid $499 when it first dropped at Costco. Now that they added a built-in client-side VPN option, this is an absolute bargain.

I would have to agree. I have about 30 wired devices and 20 wireless devices connected to mine. It sometimes needs to restart just to make it "feel" good. But overall, its a solid router. I would buy more TP link products like this one.
I just got this router, not very happy with the wifi speeds I am getting. My defective netgear router was giving me over 800 mbps consistently. This router i can barely get over 500 mbps. Going to play around with the settings a bit more but I have a feeling its going back to Costco.
