Like $200 per night for a decent hotel within a block of the beach. But most boring cities cost $150 for a night for a hotel within walking distance to a TJ Maxx so $200 doesn't seem that bad to me.

Booked choice ascend hotel for 4 nights 30 k each night in Maui. Citi TY to Choice is 1:2 for premium cards. Effectively paid 60k TY points. Not bad.

Awesome thank you op! How long are these prices good for? On the main southwest site it mentions limited Hawaii flights, 30 percent off if booked by Thursday. Is this the same thing?

Just picked a RANDOM day for the "Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort" and I am getting $850 for April 15th (on Hyatt.com, not even a deal site which should shave a hundred or two off the price). More than $650 but you oddly left out the huge detail when you traveled. Also 2018 to 2023 inflation only hit Hawaii? "Ur" out of the loop if you think that Wink

I stayed there myself in 2021 for $525. What does that prove?

Priceline.com has PAGES of hotels for under $250 per night in Wailea, HI for April 15th (again, random date). By your logic they all were $50 per night back in 2018....right?

Perhaps price shop deals and realize that Nov 2018 and Spring Break 2023 might be priced slightly differently? Also hotel pricing is based on THAT SINGLE HOTEL'S availability for the exact days you picked. I've stayed at a hotel where I checked in for $159 per night then tried to extend my stay by a single night to be charged $500 because a convention was staying there. Guess that was Hawaii's fault, right? Oh, and that was in Minneapolis.
