I have this thing and it's alright.
It's small enough to fit an umbrella, a bottle of water, a wallet and some other small items.
However, the fact that it's asymmetrical makes it very awkward to wear on the other shoulder if the left one gets tired or sweaty.
Also this price isn't great. These slings go on sale for <$30, sometimes down to <$20
+1 comment above. I have the black/graphite version and paid < $30 for mine. It seemed like a good idea at the time but in reality it's not getting as much use as I thought. It's well built with good padding and can fit a decent amount of knicknacks. It even fits an iPad no problem. It's not uncomfortable but it's also not the most comfortable given the unbalanced design as a sling. I mostly still end up grabbing a daypack or one of Eddie Bauer's packable backpacks (20L or 30L). The EB packable bags don't have much padding but are balanced on both shoulders and easier to bring on a trip as a secondary bag, for less $. This is a high quality sling if you really like slings, but if you are not sure and just want a smaller portable bag, try the alternatives.

How is it asymmetrical? Looks to me like the top strap is dead center, and the sack part just tilts to the side. And then on the bottom you can disconnect the strap and hook it on the other side if you want to swap shoulders.

hmm. looking at this, it seems like it's an updated design from what I have. Mine is permanently attached only on one side, can't switch it. It also has extra padding on the strap on one side.
