1. They cast Danny McBride.
2. To play a character named "Tennessee"
3. Who constantly wore a cowboy hat.
4. Who loved John Denver so much he could decipher his songs from a distorted recording of someone mumbling.
5. Who loved Jack Daniels.

The only thing missing would be him to be constantly chewing on a piece of f'n straw..

Lot of people shit on this and Prometheus, but they both are my favorite kinda movie to watch when there is nothin else to pick on a boring day.

Not nearly as good as the first two aliens. But better than the later alien movies. For $5 this is a good deal. Works on movies anywhere too.

I like how Ridley Scott justifiably dumped on the Alien vs Predator movies, then went and made an entry in the franchise he originated that was just as bad as either of them.

I enjoyed Prometheus as well and despite a few good scenes this was worse in every way.

Agree. I Iove and excited about Prometheus' new direction. So pissed by this movie killed off that story line.

The newer ones are good in their own way, definitely a different style and feel than the original Alien saga.

Prometheus is one of my favorite sci-fi movies of the last decade. Thought-provoking, amazing visuals, and gnarly death scenes. Not much more you can ask for imo

It's incredible that Katherine Waterston starred in two movies in the same year that featured that same John Denver song.

Fasbender is riveting. Best sequel since Aliens. I saw this in iMax early release and in theatres opening night.
