It's hard to compare them. Nvidia has some proprietary features people value to the point that they would prefer a 3060 to a 6950xt.

But this is probably the strongest GPU generation AMD has ever had. Vanilla rasterization performance is directly comparable.

6600xt to 3060
6650xt to 3060ti
6700xt to 3070
.....
6950xt to 3090ti

AMD wins consistently at 1440p, frames per watt, and frames per dollar.

Nvidia consistently wins 4k, dominates ray tracing, and has some rendering and encoding advantages for content creators.

About what exactly? The difference is small.

I have a 3080, it's a really great GPU. A 3080 is still about 800 dollars. You can get a 6950xt for 680 dollars. A 6950xt completely stomps a 3080. But a couple people on here will go "it's only a little faster" it's not true, my gf has one and we play next to each other and it's 10-50% faster depending on the game and there's a dozen good professional reviews saying it's equal to a 3090ti.

Prices on GPU's have come down. They came down allot more on AMD GPU's then Nvidia GPU's, so if you are comparing prices and are confused by which GPU's to compare to each other, I understand.

Compared by price, there is not a single Nvidia card that is better then it's AMD equivalent right now.

A 6800 is like the same price as a 3060ti. A 3070 is almost double the price of the card in this post and that's just ridiculous, that's why it's not making sense to you probably.

Unless you just really really hate AMD and want an Nvidia gpu, there is not much of a reason to get a Nvidia GPU right now, unless you are getting a 4090 or maybe a 4080.

You can OC this to similar performance of the 6750XT. Personally, my build would prefer the better thermals of the 6700XT. Just wish this was Amazon

Why is this a better thermal than 6750 xt? Because different brand since 6750 xt is a gigabyte?

I wish it was someplace other than Newegg too... It seems the only other place that sold it was Microcenter but I had to Google it to get the link to the MC listing but it just an error page.

Is this the first time one of these has crossed below the $350 mark?

Just holding out until they release the 7800, to see if prices go down at all on the 6000 series cards. I can live with the prices now, sitll over priced for how old they are but what can you do.

Wait till April 12th when the 4070 non-OC RE reviews are out and the 13th for oc reviews. Lol.

Yes. We already have data for both the 6700XT and 6750XT.

Right and you can also overclock a RX 6750 XT far beyond an overclocked 6700 XT. So let's compare apples with apples.

I feel latest AMD drivers show it faster than a 3070, without RT
