Most places, including discount shopping clubs, a $100 twin mattress (at $100, it's probably something specifically made/labeled for child use) is a thin and uncomfortable joke. Whereas in my opinion this $100 (on sale) twin mattress is quite comfortable. Perfect for kids or adults, a spare bedroom, back of the van, or if you sleep on a twin bed frame your main mattress.
Amazon doesn't say "best price in last 30 days" only because it was recently discounted to $100. But I can tell you having watched this item a couple years now, $100 is as low as it gets.
