As always... I have to sit for 30inutes trying to find anything that makes sense for even a reasonable fair where the return flight isn't 3x the cost of the cheap flight out... I hate the airline industry.

I find those emails hilarious.... at least for me, there is typically no where I'd go or want to go for the $59....

I booked tickets two days ago for 115k points total. The same itinerary now is 150k points.

This "regular Tuesday" Southwest email doesn't have anything special in it. Nothing to write home about with the 'promo' fares. It's akin to a Harbor Freight coupon post.

The only current Southwest deal is the CA to Hawaii sale in the other thread. $182 RT is a deal.

Indeed. I got 4 RT tickets to Maui from LAX for 699 for mother's day weekend. Great deal.

Got Long beach to Maui round trip tickets for $168 each. Rental cars were cheap and got a solid deal on a oceanfront 2br spot at the Westin villas. gotta love when a SD deal pops up and leads to a spontaneous trip

I booked ticket with 35K point and now the same flight is for 19k points. Cancelled the old ticket and booked new with less points.

Probably low risk to cancel the flight and rebook but you can "change" the flight, receive a credit and keep the same reservation number with no risk. Perhaps this is what you did but figured I'd mention it should it help others.

That's going to vary widely depending on how many people, type of hotel etc. Have young kids/babies so having a nicer view/resort was key. 4 Flights/hotel/van came out to $5700
