I did both of these things and needed warranty work. Buydig was great! CPS did everything they could to not pay. Buydig got involved and they finally paid. Sony also sucked in this situation.

I love the TV. If you are debating about OLED, just do it. My wife used the mattress line on me...."You spend a 1/3 of your life watching TV." She was right. Worth it.

Don't do it. I tried a second time with refurb from Buydig. This last one they sent had nearly 600 hrs and a news logo burned into the bottom left corner. They offered a small refund if I kept it and worked with the included warranties, which neither would cover. So now I'm waiting for the shipping company to pick it up for return. Sure, I'll get a refund, but missed out on other Super Bowl deals while dealing with this.

Please don't spend 1/3 of your life watching TV. Imagine for a moment how sad that really is...

Don't be. I got mine in yesterday and for 2 hours it worked fine, now it has black vertical lines. They're going to pick it up and refund me since they have no more for an exchange. Not only that, the remote seriously looks like somone had stuck it in their mouth. gross.

Screw it, I'm buying a brand new 75" U8H instead for now. Maybe in 2-3 years I'll get an 83" OLED.

I bought the A80CJ (extremely similar to this model) refurbished from BuyDig last year around this time after doing some research and was/am very happy with the purchase. These are beautiful sets. Wife and I watch more shows together than I game so that pushed me from the LG to Sony. TV arrived in pristine condition. Nothing that would indicate it was ever used, or touched for that matter. If you do purchase, know that it will arrive by freight and I believe those emails may come directly from the freight company. Be on the lookout for them to call and schedule your delivery window. You'll pop the top of the box off and plug in the set to do a quick check before accepting delivery.

EDIT: I will say...when I purchased these sets were closer to $3k retail and I paid the same as the sale price here, saving close to a grand. At a $500 difference however, I might just go retail to be honest. But again, the experience of buying from them was fantastic.
