I've had mine for at least a year. My only two minor complaints are: (1) wireless charging can be finicky. You need to set it down just right or it sits there and doesn't charge. I use wired charging now (USB-C). (2) it doesn't automatically power off after being idle. It just stays on until it dies so remember to turn it off (at least, mine does this).

Great waterproof speaker though. I use it in the shower/bathroom almost every day, Chromecast from my phone. Great deal at this price. I think I paid $100 when I bought it on some sale.

Love mine. Great little speaker and works well. Was gonna be in for another maybe at $40. Mainly cause I don't need another, jsut want another.

No GA features in flip 6. Nor can you add it to group play with other google speakers.

I have a Google audio environment, I've had one of these for years and I love it. If you have Google Home/Nest speakers and want a speaker to add to the mix that is portable then this is a great option.

Suggestions where I can learn more about Google audio? I have several legacy Chromecast audio but have largely abandoned them 2 years ago.

I am not aware to be honest. Didn't know there were google assistant updates. All I know is it still listens and responds to all of my voice requests.

I don't know about updates but I have these for my main use of google assistant,

I have tied in all bedroom ceiling fans, lights, outdoor lights, two wayz smart switches, my garage door, out door light, my sprinkler system. and led lights under my cabinets and island.
led lights are gouvee.
