The belt is long (54") and you are expected to trim/cut the belt to your size. After trimming, the cut end of the leather clips into the buckle, semi-permanently, with a spikey(?) metal clip. Then you fasten it around yourself and use the ratcheting belt buckle for day-to-day fastening.

I say "semi-permanently" because I've had mixed experience with these trim-to-fit belts. Sometimes the leather slips out of the grippy/spikey metal clip when you're putting it on or taking it off. While wearing it, the tension holds it in place. sarcasmogratis posted an amazon link above that has a video showing the process.

They are ratchet belts, they are designed to fit any size from 28"-51".
If you click in the listing, it shows how it fits diff sizes.

I bought one of these for my husband when they were on sale a while back and he had me go back and get one of each color. In our experience they hold up well and look nice.

Reversible belts are trash IMO. OK if you only plan to wear them a few times, but they absolutely cannot function as daily belts - the mechanism on the buckle that is designed to allow them to reverse is a structural weak point and will break down significantly earlier than any other part of the belt. Get a nice single piece leather stitched belt and it will last years longer.

I've purchased a number of cheap generic versions of these. The buckles on the cheap ones are great but the actual belt strap is made from cheap material that breaks down over the course of 6 months to a year. It looks like this could be interchangeable with the cheap generic buckles. Anyone have any experience with this?

I stopped using my ratcheting belt from another brand for the same reason. The buckle was so bulky.

I will have to check the brand, but I have been wearing a ratcheting belt for about 7 years. It has been great. Every couple years I have to cut off 1/4 inch as the holes from the buckle start to stretch a little and the buckle doesn't hold as well.

I purchased 2 MF classics awhile back, black w/ black and tan w/silver.
While I can confirm that it is genuine leather, the stitching however is a bit of an eyesore so I returned the brown one and kept the other; they don't show as much on the black one.
Also the belt does warp overtime so don't be surprised when it does after many wears.

Still, it's a decent belt to wear at work and at certain social events.
I usually avoid Woot! sales since their products are pretty much Amazon surplus leftovers but I dig the grey color so hopefully it will look just like the pics.
