This is a great deal on one of the most popular MTB helmets out there. I have two of these and might get a third for the price. That said, not every helmet fits every head so it may not work for you. And at this price, the whole MIPS argument is really irrelevant.

But a Walmart helmet is probably pretty good at protecting your dome, too. Most helmets meet basic safety standards. Even the cheap ones.

Fantastic price on a flagship helmet. With mentioning that fit is so important in a helmet. I had previously ordered and A2 and it just didn't fit me right, returned it and got an A1 and it fits perfect. Helmets are really worth trying on in person.

I treat head injuries, this is the best post in this thread. A reasonable quality helmet worn properly is critical, mips is maybe a little better but not critical, and avoiding injuries or risky situations is much better still. A helmet doesn't protect your head perfectly, and a head injury is not the only thing that at risk with trauma.

Solid deal on a modern helmet though.

Nice, was eyeing the deal during the house liquidation but didn't like the green color scheme they had available so opted to pass. This is actually slightly cheaper and I was able to order a black in M/L. Such a great deal!

Saw an entertaining video on this recently https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVB6ef9JWSk it was seen as uncool and haughty and inconvenient compared to skateboarding, basically.

It's funny but I actually get excited when I see someone rollerblading in the wild. I see one every year or so.

Just bought one thanks to comments here.

Wear a helmet. Make your family wear helmets. I think a cheap helmet may have saved my life and health when I was a kid and had a fall on a bike. I had my bell slightly rung instead of much, much worse.

Any kind of sport can be really dangerous. Both Sonny Bono and Liam Neeson's wife were not wearing helmets when they tragically passed away.
