i played fallout 4 and it felt slow and unbalanced. i installed a jetpack mod and it made the game a lot more fun

I could never get into borderlands or fallout 3/NV but loved fallout 4. I played 200 hours not knowing what I was doing. Now I have 2k hours in 76 🫠

I played through this stupid game multiple times on PS4, more than I care to admit. At this price, they got me just to have a copy on PC.

The playthrough that I enjoyed the most, I completely avoided the entire settlement side of the game. Set one small home base up on my own and ran around blowing stuff up.

So if I could give one tip to someone starting new, it's that you don't NEED to do all the settlement stuff. Set up one small base and be done with that side of the game. No nagging save the settlement crap. No dealing with all the bugs and common problems around them. So if building and micromanagement are not your thing, just skip that part of the game.

Your small base should be at the Red rocket, obviously.

I was going to make you that offer, then I opened steam and when I went to the DLC page for FO4, it said In Library. Didn't realize I must have snagged a GOTY key at some point a few years back. I'm on a new PC and would like to play it again so I think I lucked out here.

Played all the Fallout games, spending hundreds of hours probably.
I only wish there was more.
Now if only I could get a good price on Uncharted for the PC.

The Sim Settlements mod [nexusmods.com] can automate that a lot. There's also the Transfer Settlements - Shareable Settlement Blueprints [nexusmods.com] mod.
