Here's what I did.
1. Message EcoFlo cs through eBay. Asked if they were having a sale on the delta 2 (refurb) anytime soon.
2. They responded with an offer of $719 (about $100 off).
3. Accept the offer and then add code REFURBSAVINGS which brought my total down to $674 w taxes

I know that LFP will last longer, blah blah, but in the end it's still a very small capacity and you're paying double the Wh cost of the 1,300Wh older model.
I plug it in and it showing charge rate of 701W and 45 minutes to charge with 68%. I hope this is normal.
Also, the display would turn OFF after 5 minutes or so! Is that normal?

I used a Kilowatt meter to measure output using a 900W ceramic heater: 1.12Kwh before it shut down.
I also used a clock and averaged what the ecoflow said wattage was and Kilowatt meter said wattage was and it was spot on, 1hr 13 min runtime at ~925W avg load = 1.12Kwh.
This represents ~89% of its rated 1260Wh output, which is fantastic considering inverter losses and also the fact that I'm discharging the battery at almost 1C (1 hour discharge) instead of 0.2C (5 hour discharge) which is what most batteries are rated at. It wouldn't surprise me if the 1C discharge helped the batteries warm up more and helped with output.
I'm going to test my dads unit as well and see if his has similar output.
EDIT:
Just don't start with the "I know they're sold out, but..."
It's not your job to check on things for them.

I plugged in a heater set to medium mode at around 900W load and got about 89% of its 1260Wh rating, which is fantastic considering inverter losses. This was on a brand new EcoFlow Delta. I'll test my dads "refurb" tomorrow and see.
Did you guys get a "solar charging cable"?
I only got a "ac charging" and "car charging" cable.
