Can confirm.
Long time Columbia user here and recently ordered a few jackets that were in their seasonal sale.
The quality is lackluster, feels cheap and the outer shells feel plastic-y. Disappointing to say the least as I have plenty of other & older items that are great.

For what it's worth, nothing about this particular jacket feels cheap or subpar at all. Mine came yesterday and it's every bit as stiff as heavy (and stiff) as a new Carhartt duck jacket.

I've had a different experience with the Columbia brand; I've been a customer for years and have been impressed by the quality durability style of the product.
