gives you a set of physical buttons that you can custom map to do things on your computer.
most commonly used with OBS or other streaming software, which is why it is called "Stream Deck".
For example, you can have buttons for Start Streaming, Stop Streaming, Switch to Scene A, etc. This can be easier and quicker to operate things rather than switching windows to find the on-screen button, etc.
I bought one for the home office. I use it throughout every day to:
Turn on and off lights
Control light brightness
Control webcam
WebEx meeting control (mute, cameras, etc)
Connect/disconnect from VPN
Toggle display inputs
...and I've barely investigated the options.
This has a ton of integrations with different apps, but even at its most basic functionality, you can assign any system shortcut to a button -- so the simple answer to most of your "can it do XYZ" questions is discovering what shortcuts exist in your apps and then making that shortcut global.

Was thinking the same thing, lol. Would love to have a simple button to press to always "Share Screen 2" in teams/webex/meet now that I seem to rotate between all three fairly often.

Does this support Teams with screen sharing certain monitors?

Dont forget to use "pickup10off" to become $39.99!
I believe that's intended only for a first time Amazon locker/counter pickup. If you've made pickups previously, it won't work (as it's a one use only code).
