I'd also say it's worth spending a little more, if you can find a bike with automatic resistance adjustments. You can use the QZ (qdomyos-zwift) app to make most bikes work with the auto resistance, with different fitness apps. You can find the ex3 (or higher models) on sale from echelon, or cheaper pro form models, for 250-400 if you wait. Similar pricing for used on craigslist, Facebook marketplace and offerup, if you can't wait. The prices for these bikes are dropping because of oversupply, wait for the price you like if you can.
If you're looking for one with auto-resistance as a feature, https://github.com/cagnulein/qdom...patibili
If you're looking for video reviews, https://www.youtube.com/@TailHappyTV/videos, the guy in this link has a lot of them. You just have to go back a few months, to before he started the E-bike reviews.

Agreed. With the prices for magnetic resistance bikes dropping so low, there isn't much point to the low end felt/pressure resistant bikes. Cheap magnetic options are available and some decent entry level ones. Such as, the echelon connect sport on sale at some walmarts for $150.

Brickseek or other link on the Echelon? I can cover a lot of Walmarts when traveling for work and I always get an SUV or pickup rental.

If you can find the Echelon EX-4s+ with a year free of their fitness app @ a Costco near you for $250, that's an amazing deal. (from the link posted)
If you're looking for one with auto-resistance as a feature, https://github.com/cagnulein/qdom...patibility [github.com], this link has a table with a section showing what's compatible with auto resistance and the QZ App. This is the QZ app: https://play.google.com/store/app...n_US&gl=US [google.com] & https://apps.apple.com/us/app/qz-...1543684531 [apple.com]. You will need 2 bluetooth devices to make it work properly.
