Just received a Seiko from Jomashop today. Wasn't working. They told me they would credit me 10 dollars to go find someone to change the battery. Great, now they want me to drive around looking for someone who actually changes batteries. Told them I thought I was buying a new watch and a new watch should work out of the box. Returned within an hour of receiving it. I'll avoid them in the future.

Jomashop = junkshop. One of the options they have on the website is fast delivery. I needed it ASAP as a present so I chose the fastest option and paid the extra for a 2 day delivery. They shipped it IN A MONTH. After I called them and told this is not ok they said "well we shipped it within 30 days so everything is fair.

Already in the mail for a return. Disputed with CC just in case they want to pull some shenanigans.

Joma Shop operates from a shady Brooklyn warehouse where they dont even have a sign or office. Its a shady business and no walk in or drop offs are allowed. SD promotes them as they grease their palm.

Contrary to other comments I've had nothing but good experiences with Jomashop but I've learned to pass on all Hardlex watches (Seiko loves to use it on lower/mid-range models). The reason being that it is nowhere near as scratch resistant as sapphire but it's hard enough that when you do eventually scratch it, you can't buff it out with Polywatch as you can with mineral glass. I'd rather buy lesser glass because it's very fixable.

Glass protector is your friend.

To be fair nothing beat sapphire.
