I am unable to find them at Costco.com but I recently purchased in-store Prime Wire 25' 12/3 SJTW Yellow Extension Cord 2 Pack w/ Light Indicator for $32.99.

$20 for 25ft 12/3, $35 for 50ft…
Picked one of these up yesterday. They had plenty in stock, I think the $20 is the normal price so not sure why this yellow jacket amazon deal keeps getting posted.

By SD standards, Depot's cord should be Frontpage

People complain about "not a deal" posts like this but at least it gives us lurkers good intel and info about what the prices are like now. I'm probably going to pick up that Yellow Jacket 12/3 100 footer at Sam's. Thanks!

I appreciate that. But unfortunately the closest one is over 45 miles away and not available for shipping.

Costco has a two pack for $33. Used to be $30 for the two pack a few years back.

Not sure you will find a link, as it seems to be a warehouse only deal. Here is an old link that contains a photo of the actual item (just for reference).

If you're using this for EV charging, it's worth springing for 12GA IMHO. I was using a 14GA indoor/outdoor cable from HD for a while and it got noticeably warm (but not hot), but eventually I noticed that the connector was melted a bit.

Lots of posts about longer cords that are "better deals" or two 25' cords for a "better deal". Not helpful if you're only interested in one 25' cord. Does someone have a better deal than this for one single 25' cord? I'm assuming yes since so many have said this is not a deal…?
Recycled industrial quality made in the U.S.A. cords are by far the best deal for me. Old copper is higher quality and there are more strands. The voltage drop over distance is lower and they have far higher current carrying capacity. Light weight Chinese cords are more appealing for use indoors but I would not pay $1 per foot for them. I recycle those after they get discarded when the connectors fail.

I've got 6 and 8 gauge used marine cords which I use for generators and to power outbuildings. These cost thousands of dollars to buy new. 10 gauge from decommissioned power equipment. Severe duty cords will hold up to any environment but the weight of some make them better suited for semi-permanent installation rather than for portable use.

Refer to the cord rating and class which is deeply embossed in the sheath. I cut to length and install reusable high quality U.S.A. made connectors which last a lifetime. Used cords with odd connectors on them may be exceptionally well priced. The Chinese cords are best for use inside in shorter lengths and with low current. Old industrial grade connectors are also a nice find as new ones are quite pricey.

Got the 50ft couple months ago. 5/7 Would take it with me in the Explorer's Pack instead of the hempen rope.

Are these the ones that get hard when it's cold out?

These are garbage, (See Photo). Had this a little over the 30 day return period, but Amazon was still kind enough to refund me for it.
