I'm not sure why some people talk KastKing down. The reels and equipment I've had from them have been very good. I don't need any more reels or I'd buy one of these in a minute.

I have the black version of this reel and for the price it's hard to beat. It's pretty smooth and will definitely reel in a fish but I have noticed some rust on some of the threads of the screws even with reel oil applied every now and then and it was only ever used in freshwater

Really not too happy with kastking at the moment. I ordered two of the chrome rods recently, and they canceled the orders due to no inventory. I told several family members and friends about the deal after they confirmed they received it and took my money. Another individual and I who ordered had our orders canceled and they fulfilled everyone who ordered after us. This comment doesn't reflect their products but their customer service because it was slimy that fulfillment wasn't done on a first come, first serve basis, especially because they had live inventory on their website. We just received a generic email saying we could receive a refund or wait for a restock, but they couldn't give a date of when that would be.

Fishing deals have been on the up-and-up! Haven't pulled the trigger on any KastKing stuff but I've been looking for an extra ultralight reel and this fits the bill at a nice price. In for 2! Thanks!

I bought a few of them at full price 24.95. they are very good for crappie and white bass fishing.. smooth and light weight

Most of their reaes are crap. That ice reel is a joke. Not smooth at all. The reel you want to find on sale is the Sharkey 3, that thing is buttery smooth and is pure joy.

It could be that your location could be too costly to mail to. I live in vermont and I've had ebay sellers cancel my order and CLAIM they didn't have adequate inventory in some OTHER bs EXCUSE!!!

I live between my two brother who both had orders fulfilled. They shipped from NJ, and we all live in PA.

I own many of these in different sizes that I use for trout fishing. Biggest fish to date was a 9.5 lb. triploid trout with 6 lb line on the 2000. Handled it with now issues. Probably pick up a couple. One for a new ultralight pole and one for a gift. Thanks OP!
