670p is the best gen3 imo and also the cheapest! Get them while they are cheap.

670p is qlc. So much lower endurance and poor speed if you do big writes.

Thanks, wasn't sure if TLC over QLC outweighed the difference in brand/quality

Keep in mind that most of the reviews you find online are for earlier versions of the drive. The version I got earlier this year is a RTS5762 based drive.

What is the performance? I am always a bit skeptical of manufacturers that downgrade the components and keep the same part number, hoping to cash in on reviews using the better parts. Been burned twice with Adata such that I wont buy that brand anymore.

I got a 1TB and 2TB that was the fast version. Both died within the first few months. RMA and got back both slow ones. And they arent just a little slow. Put them in 10Gbps enclosures. My PNY CS3020 on the other hand is fast and reliable. Best deal at the time. The teamgroup MP34 4TB on sale was cheap, but I dont want to get something that dies.

Mail in repair? How long is the turnaround? Thank you.

The trick is finding the right web site to submit RMA. Otherwise it wont happen. The first one took over a month because of a backlog making the slow ones. The second one took 2 weeks.
