It's not waterproof it's just a fancy marketing term for saying it's a cushion

Purchased the dining set which includes this bench and love it. Looks great and quality seems pretty good. Has a nice weight to it. Hasn't blown away like a kite like most patio sets on windy days.

Because this is cheap garbage and the "normal" price is BS. All the outdoor furniture deals being posted by SD staff are trash

I have this set with the coffee table and two chairs. It is on my covered patio in the southeast and has lasted great through the last two summers and hurricane seasons. People can talk crap all they want but this is super solid for the price and aluminum isn't going to rust (mine hasn't) like steel

no these are what you want. Aluminum is the good quality stuff that doesn't rust. At this price these are good.

Those "wicker" sets you find for $500 a set, good luck. Those will desintegrate in a few years
