I don't think this is a great deal when the iphone 11 can be had for as low as $60 from Metro PCS, that's with 1 month service included and you wait 6 months instead of 12 for unlocking.

I was able to add the phone and $15 plan by going to phone buy page selecting color and clicking check availability. Then before choosing a plan open new tab and BYOP (https://my.boostmobile.com/shop/buy/plans/) with $15 plan and click Choose Plan. Total (before tax) in cart $214.99.

Can I use the $15 plan for one month on the phone and then get the $100 plan as a 'new' customer and use that? Or will the phone be locked to initial account?

Didn't receive refund for order in error state. Boost is refusing to refund or send the phone. Told me to contact UPS while verifying it wasn't shipped and has no tracking. Paid PayPal too 😡

Patience! Give it 10 days or so. You will either get your phone or money back.
If not, just file a dispute with Paypal, they will take care of it for you since Boost didn't ship your order. No need to worry, Paypal will side with you if Boost cannot provide shipping info.

I'm in the same boat and I've already open dispute case with paypal and you should too asap if you want your money back sooner, don't waste your time with this scummy company, they won't refund or ship your phone. Your money is currently sitting in the account balance which applied to upcoming monthly bills.

I am going to send this phone to a relative that already has Boost. Customer service can't seem to answer what is needed to make that happen. Tried to change IMEI to their phone but that didn't work - last rep said if I put the new Boost SIM card in another phone it should free up the device and it should just work on their phone with nothing else needed since they're on the same network. Anyone else know?

Sim swap is fine. Yes it's that easy. Metro is the only carrier that requires imei to be linked to sim

in my experience before, I use $40 plan and may change to other plan included $100/Year plan after 2 weeks, so I guess you may change $15 to $100.
