Can you provide the link because I took advantage of this deal when it was in store and had to show an ID, and I am unable to downgrade. Is someone else knows how to downgrade please let me know. When they had the iPhone SE 2020 several months ago you had to get the $40 plan as well, but you were able to downgrade to a 6-month plan for $90.

All they have to do to prevent us from ordering their phones with cheaper plans than they have intended is for them to fix this loophole that has been existing for months. That should not be too hard for a multi billion company like dish network. That also doesn't give them the right to take phones back before delivery without refunding customers money. This is a theft and not just shady dealing.

anyone have problems checking out? it just keeps telling me there is a problem and then saying new credit card successfully added. no fraud alerts so i'm not sure what the issue could be.

Can you login to boost mobile's portal? There's an option to change your plan, you should be able to change your plan and downgrade from there.

They probably didn't find out about it until now and panicked and issued RTS. I've been doing boost deals for over a year now and this is the first time i've seen the RTS fiasco

The first time I was able to order with Paypal 2-3 weeks ago. But now I don't see Paypal, the only option is to pay with credit card.
Anyone else having this problem?
Maybe Boost no longer accept Paypal?

YMMV, but this worked for me: call in and ask for your port-out pin and account number. When they harass you as to why tell them it's too expensive, and there's no option to downgrade to the cheaper plans. They might then add the cheaper options for you. It's hit or miss depending on the service rep.

Another thing you can do is just sign up for a new Boost account under a different email and choose BYOD and just use the phone with that new account. This is what I tell my friends to do. Just buy the phone under one account using a throwaway e-mail, activate it and turn off autopay, then sign up for a new BYOD plan with the email you actually want to use and use the promo iPhone as the device.

Thanks for this info. Do you know if I am going to have trouble activating the $15 plan that came with my phone about 45 days after purchase? I've read that some people have trouble after 30 days, even though the terms and conditions say 60 days. I suppose the worst case scenario is that I get a new SIM under a second account like you say above.

You shouldn't, but keep an eye on the account. I have activated one of these Boost promo lines even after 60 days, but, as always, YMMV.
