I don't think that the iPad 12.9" is too big and I say that as an iPhone 13 Mini user.

If Apple wants more of my money, then all they have to do is release a 15" or 16" iPad Pro and I'd have no choice but to buy one. But in the meantime, I'm more than happy with my 12.9" Pro.

What is the use case of the pro model 128gb? Had thought most pro usage came along higher storage requirements.

Overall better screen, speaker and faster I think. For someone that doesn't game much I would consider this. I tired the lower end iPad the screen is terrible. But then again there is the price delta do sure.

Nice find, while the new OLED models are rumored to come next year, they will be far more expensive than current MSRP. Happy to get this size at this price now.

some people worried about 128gb of storage. The iPad's greatest strength IMO is creative work.

I used an Air2 with 64gb for years for Garageband multitrack recording, and Lumafusion video editing. It was tough to manage the storage when I had several video projects in-progress at the same time. But a couple at a time was no problem.

If you keep enough storage free you can do plenty with 128gb. It's a bit small for video editing, you'll have a hard time with large projects or multiple projects, but it's not impossible.

I second this (despite the inevitable downvotes). I say this as a Pro Max phone user. The 11" is the right size for a tablet (and in some ways the Mini is even better).

The 12.9" really is like holding a baking tray. Great for a laptop replacement (if you're fine with the shortcomings of iPadOS) but not a very good tablet for consumption. It has a clear advantage for drawing, though.
