The Dell 10% off email coupon stacks with this making it $405. There is also 10% cashback ($40) at R10 or other similar sites. Plus I have 10% cashback on my Amex Biz Plat ($43).

Net cost including tax is ~$350 for me. Seems like a deal if you can stack the Amex offer.

yes, because just about anyone who buys and uses these everyday, value oriented laptops will immediately notice the last gen process node and its oversized transistor gate length!

2023 we need at leas rembrandt cpus on these. Zen 3 is sold now though this particular chip was a mild "upgrade" early last year. This is still a 7nm chip while Rembrandt is 6nm. Whenever AMD releases Zen 4 based chips it will be on 4nm. I doubt it will be in any value laptops this year.

"Resolution supported over HDMI is 1920x1080 @60Hz. No 4K/2K output" - Does this mean it can't output 4k to my monitor over HDMI? That sounds like a strange limitation for an otherwise decent machine.

You probably need to use usb-c display port for higher resolution

You should be able to output 4K 60Hz using a USB-C to HDMI adapter like this one [amazon.com]. It's a special adapter for USB-C ports that support DP Alt Mode.

If I had to guess - I think it's Dell's implementation of the HDMI output. Other manufacturers are implementing 4K 60Hz on the built-in HDMI with the same CPU.

4K 60hz is the limitation of the APU (Vega 7).

I take it this sign up email isn't one of those quick instant emails. I found a sign up link for a 10% off for educators and had it sent to my wife's teacher's email acct. That was instant, but the coupon didn't work on the laptop. It just took off 10% from the laptop bag. Sucks.
