Just FYI - you can port out of mint and then port back in to qualify for the promo

I ordered a few "rounds" ago. At the time of the order I had mint, I ported to Tracfone for 3 weeks, and just successfully ported back into mint today. Logging in, I see that I have service for the next 12 months.
Just an FYI...The model I received was the GVU6C which does NOT have mmwave for Verizon.
Because my first post. And remember people being mean when a repost happens for a recently expired deal. This is the same one as last week.
Tbh - I just didn't want to be banned because of some rules I may not be aware.

That's not how it works lmao

A 10 year old SD account with only one deal posted plus barely any comments, and you chose to come up with this nonsense...
Sometimes they merge posts, but yeah, that guy is something else.

I ordered without much reading. I can just throw away the 1 year Sim or try to sell it and the phone is mine to use where ever? Just checking my understanding. Thanks
Wondering same. I skipped last two deals waiting to hear what happens. Do you need to activate or what? Mint told me I did have to activate and port in. But then the phone is unlocked so can I just disregard the sim and activate esim

Can anyone confirm that the 45 day port in requirement is firm?

It's unlocked, so you can put in whatever SIM you want and use it. If you chose to get a physical SIM card, you can resell it, but make sure you tell them that they must port in a number to get the extra 6 months.

Mint's "recovery fee" is a joke. I'd rather get the refurb Pixel 5 and do the trade in deal with the Google Store.

Was this ever not active? It was last week when I checked, hoping that they would bring back the 7 plus deal.

I gave up on this after having 5 orders cancelled/refunded on me the last time this was posted.

I've place an order for the pixel from the google store, and sending in a pixel 5 purchased straight from eBay. Comes out to a little over 300, maybe 305 (incl. sales tax).

Not as slick of a deal as this, but I don't need the SIM card anyway, and don't want the hassle of flipping it.

But mostly it's just I poured too much time into this last time.

Do you receive an email each time the order got canceled?

It's a pretty good deal. I haven't found much trade in value for Pixel 7 yet, but still on the hunt. I think Best Buy offered $225 on an unlocked phone trade in. Was hoping for more.

This happened to me as well but after 10 days it finally shipped. I had to contact them to get the tracking number because I never was sent an email.

I'm in the market for new phone service. Can anyone explain why Mint Mobile charges half as much as T-Mobile while using their same service?
They don't. Prepaid T-Mobile is around $17/month with a bit less data. Mvno with no stores to support. You can ask the same question about any att or Verizon mvno and the answer boils down to bulk buying and reselling network time at a discount and usually with lower data priority.
