I would be leery of using the defective Endorphin Trail no matter how cheap the price is. Below is a statement form Saucony provided to RTR regarding the removal of the Endorphin Trail from the market. The problem with the shoe is related to the midsole, the most crucial part of a shoe. Running on a shoe with a defectively manufactured midsole could possibly lead to injury. This could explain the extraordinary move by Saucony to pull the product from market.
"Our team has identified an inconsistency in the midsole component of a very small percentage of our Endorphin Trail shoes. While we thoroughly investigate the issue, we are pausing all marketing of the shoes."
