Before you buy this, make sure you really love racing games or have a dedicated room for it. I bought something like this twice and it ended up in my closet bc I didn't want to set it up every time

This deal seems solid, especially since I was going to go with the Fanatec direct drive wheel. I wonder how this would this be in comparison for a casual GT7 player (play a couple hours a day)?

I have had some friends recently get into F1 on the PS5, so buying this to give it a try.

My old logitech wheel broke. I am also thinking about upgrading to direct drive since that tech dropped in price. Unfortunately not many dd options with official support from playstation & cheapest option is sold out for months (I like cross platform). I mostly use the wheel for pc but probably will get gt7 in the future. good thing the ps version of this sold out too. I will wait.

The fanatec site has the bundle for 8nm still in stock and supports both PS5 and PC. That's the one I was eyeing, but not sure how it would be using a computer desk and not in a racing rig. Btw, you'll love GT7. I've been playing it since release and haven't gotten bored of it.
