I got the $20 set from last time and I think think this one is the better deal if you just have a 1/2 wrench. I don't feel comfortable adapting a 3/8 socket for use on a 1/2 wrench so the 3/8's are basically paper weights.

Nice!!! You can never have too many impact sockets lol. The 10mm alone is worth its weight on gold.

@OP it's not about getting shallow sockets and adapters for reach, it's if the nut is recessed deep onto a long bolt where this is necessary.

By my math, it should be 14 pieces.

Yup, just the 10mm is worth that much. Not to mention I am getting the 24mm as "just in case" I need to work on something that need that.

This set says made in Taiwan; Arcan has a very similar looking 14 piece set for about $25 (no coupon on this one) that says made in China. Conventional wisdom is that the higher quality stuff is made in Taiwan. Conventional wisdom is also that Cr-V is not as good as CrMo for impact sockets, but I've seen that argued to be no longer correct.

Perfect timing. I was looking for a 22mm deep socket. Harbor Freight has one for $10, but for $1 more I can get a semi full set vas extras!
