Franchises shouldn't be allowed to opt out of advertised deals. Getting the benefits of the advertising but not offering the deal seems wrong.

My local subway operator says those deals are crushing him. Corporate doesn't care because they sell him the ingredients and basically give them away at cost leaving him just the chips and drinks for profit.

Eat in moderation, have 2 tenders a day. I don't buy fast food much, so my alternative is buying frozen foods from costco. I buy tenders, nuggets, pot stickers, spring rolls , etc. I stick to the serving size and air fry. Not the healthiest options but easier to track calories

So, I'm back from picking up my $10 bucket.

I haven't tried them yet, but I know what KFC tastes like. I'll have them later.

But I did open the bucket to look at what I got and I have to say that I have no complaints about the size.

The last time I ordered from KFC, I think I paid around $20-$25 for a bucket and this $10 bucket was not any smaller.

I feel sorry for all of the other suckers (customers) inside that KFC though, because it's quite apparent that most of them do not read slick deals. That would be their loss. Most of them were ordering regular priced items, not aware of this deal.

Remember the Looney Tunes cartoons when Road Runner and Bugs Bunny bait their pursuers with Alum, and they eat the Alum and their mouths pucker in and shrink? That's what KFC does to my mouth because of the 10,000 milligrams of salt in these buckets.

Yeah, a lot of fast food is pretty salty, but I don't care too much about that, because I don't think it's anything for a normal, healthy person to worry about as long as somebody doesn't eat it too often.

If somebody were to eat this every single day, and I'm sure that some people do, then that would be a different story of course.
