Franchises shouldn't be allowed to opt out of advertised deals. Getting the benefits of the advertising but not offering the deal seems wrong.

My local subway operator says those deals are crushing him. Corporate doesn't care because they sell him the ingredients and basically give them away at cost leaving him just the chips and drinks for profit.

I didn't expect Subway to have a fanboy....They closed 1,000 stores last year, have been having massive financial issues, and are considering selling the chain. Sales mean absolutely nothing. What are their profits?
