Franchises shouldn't be allowed to opt out of advertised deals. Getting the benefits of the advertising but not offering the deal seems wrong.

My local subway operator says those deals are crushing him. Corporate doesn't care because they sell him the ingredients and basically give them away at cost leaving him just the chips and drinks for profit.

So I gave it a shot at Poopeyes and your right it is a good deal one meal filled me and my sister up for $10. The chicken meat itself is good especially the juicy breast (I love breast) but Kernal Sanders made a miracle recipe that I don't think anyone can imitate with their ORIGINAL RECIPE. I was glad I went because wow what a deal for a decent meal for 2 at $10 but Popeye's does not have that special spice KFC has.

Just got this today. Extra crispy felt underwhelming even w/ the hot sauce. Kind of felt like the skin was seperate from the meat when you took a bite. Dunno, maybe should've went with original. Give this a 6/10 and coincidentally had a korean fried chicken earlier in the day which might've affected me.

You're not wrong, extra crispy has always seemed bland to me. I get original for the flavor, but getting old pieces throw me off for a few years

If you don't like sugary things, pass on the Chick-fil-A. I have only tried it once, from a Slickdeals freebie, and it tasted like it had been dredged through sugar. So gross, not sure why so many people love it!

If you'd like flavorful spicy foods, absolutely try Popeyes at least once in your life but expect to sit on the toilet later getting rid of all of the fat 🤣
Still totally worth it!

I usually prefer to make my own chicken slathered in homemade taco seasoning but sometimes a good greasy store bought fried chicken hits the spot and for me that's Popeyes once every 3 years or so (thankfully it's not closer I would eat there more often).
I hit KFC in about that same timeframe, but as a reminder how bad my local one is.
