I got the trail version when Costco was selling them for $3250 during the height of the pandemic and bike shortage. At that time, this was a screaming deal. Nice frame and a 12 speed Eagle drivetrain.
But the NX group is meh. Not horrible, but I did replace the derailleur and shifter to GX. I also went with a longer handlebar with more rise to lengthen the perceived reach and fit me better. I also didn't like the TRP brakes that came with it. I tried different pads and ended up just getting Magura MT5s. Fantastic brakes.
At $3000, this is still a solid deal with Costco backing if you don't like it or feel it's not getting use. But there are tons of bikes on sale and you could do better if you worked the sales.
I do really enjoy riding this bike and it feels great. The trail can ride XC or park. We've done Snow Summit and it held its own. Not a DH bike, but can easily do most big hits with little complaints. Nearly no peddle bob while climbing. So a very good frame design and it's super light to boot.

For a carbon frame mtb at 3k with fox suspension this actually seems like a decent deal. I would probably be looking for a better all around aluminum frame bike in this price range, however. Something like an ibis Ripmo or Ripley.
