Shows $159 for me online down from $199. Is $159 the clearance price in store too?

Have regular toolset from ridgid. Is brushless worth upgrade? Price seems to be very good

much better all around. more power and form factor is smaller which allows for longer use or easier use for less physically abled people. easily worth the value as someone who has a whole line from ryobi and rigid. future is here.

I'm thinking about that, I don't need the drill and have already brushed reciprocating saw that I may sell. Waiting for the Brad nailer 2 tools to be on sale again with the multitool or saw. Have you had luck selling these tools online or marketplace? Already 20% therefore no mil discount 😌

In the last year RIDGID had their subcompact on promo. This below was drill, driver, and you can choose recip for $149 total

Maybe they will have it again, but that deal didn't have the rolling box like this. This Ryobi deal is a great value, the biggest loss coming from RIDGID would be no LSA on it.

I love my subcompacts, less strain to use and still pack a lot of punch.

That's basically true. But just a heads up; the drill and driver are the compact models. They are considerably less powerful then normal sized brushless tools according to comparisons I've seen on YouTube tool channels. With that said, These two are my favorite drill driver set. I keep them in that same bag with a couple bit sets. Great grab and go set. Wish the impact driver had gear settings. And I wish they both had magnetic trays. Oh and wish the lights were brighter.

With all that said. Still a great set. Has no issue whatsoever doing the basic jobs you would expect them to do. But just wanted to warn those looking for a raw powerful set, these are not it...

Thanks for reply. as i am getting older those tools are bit heavy and hurt my arms for few hours of use. The weight is big advantage. Hassle is to sell ridgid tools Frown i already have ryobi 18v impact torque wrench set from recent FP deal. I will give it a trySmilie

I'm only interested in the one handed recip saw. If anyone is in the MN area and wants to go in on this deal together, let me know!

It's not a Clearance price. It's listed as "Special Buy". If Your local store is showing 'In Stock', just place an online order and go pick it up.

It is very good price. I got a similar set with an addition free tool a couple years ago instead of the tool box. at $199. This is definitely a better deal, but I have 2 drills, 2 drivers, and 2 recip saws already. LOL.

Same here. Wondering what kind of prices the box and drill/impact would fetch on marketplace. Ryobi's retail pricing has such wild swings that I'm afraid the marketplace buyers would probably all be lowballers. I think I would be happy if I could with the recip only costing me $50.

I saw these in store ring up for $199 a few days ago. I don't know if prices changed since then but Home Depot does not price match Special Buy tagged online items so if you want one, order online for in-store pickup.

Also fyi the drill impact combo but with 2ah batteries instead of 1.5ah in OP combo is priced at $180 right now, and iirc the recip saw is usually priced for at least $70-80, no battery.
