I'd jump on this if it weren't an extra $24 for the heatsink version.

According to UserBenchMark.com, the $60 WD SN770 1 TB drive (ranked 4th) is better than this Samsung 980 Pro 1TB drive (ranked 14th)

Source: https://ssd.userbenchmark.com/Com...vsm1302577

Or is that ranking not accurate or misleading?

Deal for the SN770: https://slickdeals.net/f/16517911-1tb-wd-black-sn770-pcie-gen4-nvme-m-2-internal-solid-state-drive-60-free-shipping

Yes. Sabrent is compatible with PS5. No issues reported by reviews.

Very very skewed benchmarks. Lots of people running the 980's in slower specd systems. Actual specs 980 Pro: 7000 Read, 5100 Write. SN770: 5150 Read, 4900 Write. This of course requires a system capable or running it at PCIe gen 4. There are other technical differences but the 980 is in almost all areas a better drive. For $15 difference 980 all day assuming you can get it for that price.

I actually found this one after seeing the 970 EVO Plus version which was posted here for only $55. I bought one of these instead.

This or Solidigm P44 1TB for my PS5? Can anyone make any suggestions? Also, is 1TB upgrade enough? or should I go for the 2TB?

Nice. And you waited for someone to post the deal and then waited to post a comment about it too.
