To use this monitor with your own Vesa mount you will need the less standard 75/75 sized Vesa with only 4 holes (smaller) , not the 100/100 or the 75/75 100/100 combo Vesa ( with both sets of holes). Or you can jimmy rig it to a standard 75/75 100/100 combo holedl Vesa by buying longer bolts and some spacers.
Someone else said the picture is good but the interface sucks. Not sure if that's a day to day problem or not.

Incredibly useful on a screen this size

Yes, with scaling fonts/images/etc. look sharper, and I personally can't stand any resolution lower than 4k on 27/28in displays.
This is a great monitor as long as you're not trying to use the VESA mount. It exists, but it is difficult to attach and is higher on the monitor than most. If you're using it alone or getting two of these, it would probably be cromulent.
If you're not mounting it on an arm/wall, this is a great deal.

How close are you to your phone?
you can't compare resolution of devices with different screen sizes and viewing distances, BECAUSE, it's angular resolution not resolution or pixel density that determine whether or not your eyes can discern fine detail (like individual pixels).
24" - 1080p
27" - 1440p
32" - 4K
That's my recommendation for best resolution.
I've been using two of these from over 7 months and never noticed sound or any other issues…great monitors

I learn things from this site frequently … thanks
Cromulent
acceptable or legitimate:
People disagree on using the singular "they," but it's perfectly cromulent as far as I'm concerned.
Ditto. Have this monitor on a Vesa mount and with spacers it fits fine. Have had it on the same mount for over a year and some change now with zero issues.
I will say though that the colors out of the box are a bit off and will need some calibrating. Don't need anything special though. I just adjusted the RGB values directly through the TV's UI and it looks much better to my eye.
