Also, I also had the same issue with Amazon and a pair of APC P11U2's that I bought a month apart compared to versions I got from Home Depot just didn't last as long as the ones from Home Depot.
I've had similar issues with some extension cords from Yellow Jacket. The 12/3 cords from Amazon have had 1 of the 3 female receptacles go bad fairly quickly from Amazon. But the HD versions have held up fine.
These are obviously not a common issue, or reviews would reflect it, but I stopped buying surge protectors and extension cords from Amazon. I'm either extremely unlucky, or ... I dunno? Lol.
Doesn't this mean it actually worked?

The overall quality of electronics has been on the decline for a couple decades and totally taken a plunge off the cliff the last few years alone. I have some Belkin surge protectors that have been working flawlessly for 15-20 years now. Get older stuff if you can.
Pron video download, I suspect?
I've used this since January 2017 and was $14 then. Has worked well so hopefully this is part of the old stuff. Like another post said, even has RJ11 LOL.
