I like the length of these, but it infuriates me that instead of elastic they use a string instead. Yes, a string.

Can anyone recommend a differnt brand? Not Hanes obviously

This is definitely a good price, but I'm not sure about this string and shrinking thing. I may try this anyway, but as far as your recommendation request, I have had a good success with Gildan in the past.

I have these same shirts. I particularly like how long they are. They are definitely the old school underwear type designed to be tucked in and then stay in all day.

Yes. This. So uncomfortable when I lift my arms up and the undershirt untucks, and then I have that draft coming in under my shirts onto my belly

I have over 20 of these under shirts and over half of them the stitching comes out at the shoulder. I would not recommend.
