Not sure what you're seeing but it's not regularly been $300 and the few times it was, it was either eBay, Japanese model or refurbished. This version has only been out since 10/2021 and this a good price and you're basically getting free tax as it will come just under $350 for most. I will agree though Nintendo refuses to lower their prices of consoles or first party games and it sucks.

In the future, I would advise and ask kindly that you try the search functionality as I directed rather than misleading prospective slickdeal buyers into a purchase that is an everyday sales price for the past year.
