But basically, the kit is made up of 2 components.
1- A power cord to power up your kind of camera (In this case those Rebels mentioned) so you don't have to rely on the short life of the camera's battery.
2- A software to handshake your camera with a PC. (Reported to be very much buggy and cause of many conflicts, if you already have software on your PC that uses a camera driver, due to conflict of use, necessitating manual over-riding and control).
