According to LG"s spec site, you'll get about 7" or so under the bottom bezel, so no. You would have to put it on a shelf to raise it up.

The monitor would be way too high to be ergonomic if you set it up like that.

i have 2 of these monitors, and yes its only 1080p, but it works great and i've loved it. Thinking about adding a 3rd to my setup but this one in portrait mode. there are versions of this that are 2k, but you're paying WAY more than this. and this is a killer deal, albeit having to wait 1-2 months for delivery.

Oh this is not 2k but rather 1080p. It is not as sharp as a 2k display. It's like having 1.5 27" monitor with the resolution full HD (a little grainy or just ok)
