But I hear ya, I hate that they use rebates knowing that only 10-20% are redeemed.
That said, I have done Menards rebates many times and have never had an issue.
It is a a little bit a PITA that you still have to mail them, but they have a Rebate Center website where you can have the form auto filled and printed and can also track your rebate status:
