While Knipex Cobras are definitely a favorite tool of many professional plumbers (and other tradesman), these mini Cobras are more of a WANT than a NEED (at least in my opinion). A plumber that has the next smallest size 125mm Cobras, for ex, would likely have no need for these. These are more of something you might throw in your car on vacation, or place in a backpack for hiking, or (like in the picture) carry in your pants pocket with your Leatherman or Swiss Army Knife, etc, etc...

I have this and was really surprised how small they are. I saw vids and all but it's different seeing it in person. I can see why they love this as an edc. Very pocket friendly but still capable.

Must buy for edc fans.

Are those tiny German pliers in your pocket or are you happy to see me.

They do just make a really nice pair of tiny adjustable pliers, with impressive jaw capacity for their size. I've got the 6" and now 10" from the last deal and they're all great - not to mention the Pliers Wrench in both 5" and 7.25". All good for small work-holding purposes too, especially with some (hard rubber) TPU soft jaws.

While I want these, I don't need these. Not this time, slickdeals!

Sigh....anyone else such a deal addict that they buy really high quality tools on sale when their prior tools are doing just fine? My wife just rolls her eyes at the deals I buy :"because I'm saving money!"

May the higher powers have mercy on your soul on the day your wife finds out how to see archived orders…

No knock on you but I've seen so many folks say they can carry a 5" plier in the back pocket of their pants.

What are they gonna be doing with it? Seriously, especially out on hikes. I've never needed one or got into a situation where I'd wish I can whoop out a 5" plier lol

These are 4" pliers I don't care how cute they are, Iikely they are either flexible or breakable by hand.

Edit *I see some are saying they are useful like chunky tweezers so I guess great.

These are such a fad in the EDC community. If you look at the EDC (every day carry) subreddit, people are constantly talking about how they daily carry these for their desk jobs lol. Of course, it's 99% of people roleplaying that they'll actually use these.
