If the coupon is clipped to your account - is this an item that can be purchased in store vs. online ordering? I'm heading to Walgreens to pick up another order later today. I would have included this in there but alas, too late. Since I'll be at the store, will this be one of those items that I can just get while there - thus avoiding the $10 min. restriction.

Yes. Clipped to your account = valid.

these are really poor quality now. i had one that misaligned after

a two dozen uses as it scrapes my nails instead of cutting them.

I've noticed the made in Korea ones are extremely high quality lately. Think all of Revlon nail clippers are made in China.

Any links? I have been trying to find a good nail cutter and willing to pay a higher price.

There's a Japanese brand who's name escapes me that is supposedly the best. I picked up some Tweezerman ones though that are pretty nice. About a million times better than these Revlon ones.

I know their manufacturing plant was in Oxford North Carolina a few years ago, but since the bankruptcy and change in ownership, I am not 100% sure where it's manufactured now.
I know that they have/had a ton of subsidiaries (Almay, Charles Revson, Cutex, Elizabeth Arden-all in the US), but they also had many outside of the US as they are global and have been for some time. They do indeed have one subsidiary located in Korea (Elizabeth Arden Korea Yuhan Hoesa), as well as one out of China (Revlon China Holdings Limited).

The Strategist (NY Mag) did a review in August of 2022...They state the best overall was Seki, the best cheaper one was Tweezerman, and highend was Zwilling.

NYTimes had a similar article in February of 2022, which went with the best overall pick was Green Bell, followed by Seki, with their budget pick being Muji.

Byrdie claims that the best budget clippers are in fact Revlon! So that's a win.

Another article over at FashionBeans claimed best overall was Seki, followed by the best budget clippers being Revlon.

Update: Just got to the store and picked it up. It does in fact say "Made in China".

I've had a pair of Seki, and they're significantly better than the Revlon junk, although not flawless. Still, this is one of those products in which spending $6-$10 can get you premium quality. For something that lasts you 5 years for something you use weekly, that's a no-brainier.
